The Bus Initiative – “Keep the pen, not the ring”
DSK is a program ideated in the form of the hackathon, with the aim to bring together young changemakers and professionals, to present them with problems that local communities face in their everyday life, with the expectations, that the passion and positive energy, sharing ideas, as well as professionalism in their respective fields, will drive them to come up with innovative solutions to those problems.
Albanë Hoti, Agnesa Jashari, Besart Mataj, Adelina Tërshani and Naxhije Bujupi, are young and passionate changemakers, that met one-another as participants at Diaspora School in Kosovo (DSK), which was held 11-15th of October 2017, in Prizren, and included two municipalities Prizren and Malisheva.
The Bus Initiative (BUS), which took the first place in the Diaspora School, for the Municipality of Malisheva, realized tire activity on 15 February in order to raise the awareness of young people about the importance of education and the ban on early marriages. More than 50 young people attended on this project. Kosovo Diaspora School Program was designed and implemented by German, while supported by Youth, Employment & Skills #GIZ
